  • Push-pull output transformer – Primarily used for push-pull amplifiers.  With the push-pull output transformer, the quiescent currents of the two push-pull power tubes cancel each other out in the core.  Designed with a closed core and almost no gap.  This type of transformer cannot be used on a SE amplifier.
